Overview
The WashTools Air Operated Treadle for Tire Detection is a floor mounted air switch that is used to detect the position of the vehicles tires. An air regulator assembly feeds the stainless steel frame mounts to the floor in the wash bay. As the vehicle tire rolls over the frame a simple air valve mechanism opens allowing air pressure to feed a pressure switch in the equipment room. This switch provides a NO or NC contact closure and is mountable on a 35 mm din rail. Common uses for this system are for wheel and tire applicators as well as for anti collision systems and roller requests for on demand conveyors.
