Overview

The WashTools Dual Prep Gun System is a self contained prep gun unit which houses (2) independent pumping units.  Each unit consists of a 5 horsepower motor directly coupled to a high pressure General pump.  Each pump is capable of 6.5 GPM @ 1000 PSI and has over temperature and over pressure protection.  Also included with each unit is a chemical injection pump which allows wash solutions to be applied to the vehicle thru the high pressure wands.  Switches on the control box allow each gun to operate in a water only mode or a water with chemical injection mode.  A flow switch and timer in the control box allow each gun to be independently activated by simply pulling the prep wand trigger to activate the pump motor.  When the prep wand trigger is released, water flow will stop and the timer will then delay the time you set to turn the pump motor off.  The control contains (2) sets of dry contacts that can be used to signal motor starters to start each pump.  The motor starters are not included with the base prep gun unit, but are Each wand has (2) nozzles that can be easily toggled during prepping to switch between a v-jet or a 0 degree nozzle.
